Workplace Forum aims to advance the understanding and practice of the relationship between the built environment and organisational performance.
Established in 1992 in Europe by DEGW, international design consultants, the forum provides a research and learning network focused on global best practice in workplace design, technology, and management.
Workplace Forum:
- provides a global workplace intelligence network;
- encourages knowledge sharing amongst senior decision makers from specialists including real estate and property, IT, and HR;
- develops knowledge and intelligence through research to inform better decision making.
Over the years Workplace Forum has grown geographically to be a global organisation, as well as in scope to cover development planning as well as health and learning environments.

Established in 2001, Government Forum was DEGW’s response to a demand from the public sector. Created as a safe environment for like-minded professionals, it has become an industry forum encouraging meaningful debate and discussion about the workplace and how it is changing and evolving in order to focus on maximizing value from the combined assets of people, new processes and systems in contemporary workplace settings.
The Government Forum is free to public sector members and is facilitated and managed by DEGW. Regular events are arranged at valuable case study locations with access to project sponsors and implementation teams. DEGW are developing Government Forum to deliver higher value to forum members and increase access and exchange of topical information and knowledge.
